On 1st Feb 2024 the students of B.Sc Home science 6th semester HDFR went to Govt. Model High School, sector 35 Chandigarh to conduct a Survey and Awareness Program on Mental Health. Many activities were conducted by students presentation on mental health was also given, flash Cards were showcased presenting different disease and their cure, a skit was also enacted with the help of puppets, games were also conducted to promote good mental health and at the end the students were given a questionnaire to fill up. We were very grateful for the positive support the faculty showed us. Principal of the college Prof Sudha Katyal encouraged the students to spread awareness about the mental health and exam anxiety Headmistress of the school Ms. Shilp Batish also appreciated the students for great work done by the team.
