“Woollen Donation Drive For Underprivileged Children And Aged” carried out by NCC Girls Cadets

Chandigarh: People are facing cold waves of 7 degree temperature and dense fog. Therefore, “Woollen Donation Drive For Underprivileged Children And Aged” was carried out by the NCC Girls Cadets of Government Home Science College under the guidance of Col. Anupam Randhawa Commanding officer of 1 Chandigarh Girls BN as a part of Social Service and Community Development on January 05, 2024. NCC cadets donated Gloves, Caps and Socks to the underprivileged young children, women and aged to protect from chilly winter. This drive helped the people and NCC Cadets in both ways as it inculcated the spirit of serving people among the Girls NCC Cadets and beneficiaries admired the gesture of affection in the form of donation. This event sensitized the cadets and people towards the need of care and welfare.
